This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of services provided by Lone Star Data Ranch ("Services") and is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of Services without notice.

Purpose

This AUP is intended to protect the stability, security, and integrity of our network, servers, and customers. It defines acceptable and unacceptable uses of our Services.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use our Services to engage in, promote, or support any activity that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or disruptive, including but not limited to the following:

Illegal Activity

• Hosting or distributing illegal content.
• Violating any applicable local, state, federal, or international laws.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, or deceptive practices.

Adult Content

• Legal adult content is permitted provided it complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Content involving minors, exploitation, or illegal material is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination and reporting where required.
• Lone Star Data Ranch reserves the right to suspend content that generates excessive abuse complaints or legal risk.

Security Violations

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks.
• Port scanning, probing, or vulnerability testing without permission.
• Distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, or malicious code.
• Hosting phishing pages or impersonation sites.

Network Abuse

• Launching or participating in DDoS attacks.
• Operating botnets or command-and-control systems.
• Interfering with the performance or availability of any network or system.

Email and Spam Policy

• Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam).
• Running mass email campaigns without verified opt-in consent.
• Sending email in violation of applicable laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act.
• Email activity that causes blacklisting, excessive complaints, or unusual cost increases may result in suspension.
• Excessive email volume or abusive sending patterns are prohibited.

Resource Abuse

• Using excessive CPU, RAM, disk, or network resources that negatively impact other customers.
• Running processes that degrade server performance or stability.
• Cryptocurrency mining is strictly prohibited on all Services, including VPS.
• Automated scraping, harvesting, or bot activity that impacts performance is prohibited.
• Accounts consistently exceeding fair-use resource levels may be required to upgrade to a higher-tier plan.

VPN, Proxy, and TOR Services

• Public proxy services, VPN services, and TOR exit nodes are not allowed on shared hosting.
• Such services are not permitted on VPS plans without prior written approval from Lone Star Data Ranch.

Copyright and Intellectual Property Violations

• Hosting pirated software, media, or copyrighted material without authorization is prohibited.
• We respond to valid DMCA takedown notices in accordance with applicable law.
• Repeated violations may result in account termination.

VPS Responsibility

Customers using VPS services are responsible for securing their servers, maintaining updates, and preventing abuse originating from their systems. Lone Star Data Ranch is not responsible for compromised servers due to insecure configurations.

Website Content

Customers are responsible for all content hosted on their accounts. Content must not:

• Promote violence or threaten harm.
• Harass individuals or groups.
• Incite hatred or discrimination.
• Be intentionally deceptive or fraudulent.

Service Stability Protection

We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate any account that threatens the stability, security, performance, or reputation of our network or Services, or that negatively impacts other customers.

Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in:

• Warning notices.
• Temporary suspension.
• Permanent termination.
• Removal of harmful content.

In severe cases, immediate suspension may occur without prior notice to protect network integrity and other customers.
